Pastor Jim Macarille has been with us since November 2020. He was raised in the Saugerties area, his parents still reside here. He has ties to our church through his step-father and his family who have been long time members. In his youth he could be found pulling heals and soles off shoes in his grandfather Frank Florio's cobbler shop in the village of Saugerties. Jim graduated from Saugerties High School. He attended college and earned a degree in Medical Technology. He returned to the area and has since worked in local hospitals.

Jim heard God calling and went back to school to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Leadership and a Master of Divinity degree from the Newburgh Theological Seminary in Indiana.

Jim is married to his wife of almost twenty years, Jennifer Kaman-Macarille. She also has deep ties to the area being born and raised in Hurley, NY. She is the daughter of local artist James Kaman. Jennifer is a photographer and artist in her own right. Together they share three sons; Thayne and his family of Salt Lake City, Utah; the late Jared Macarille; and Anthony who also resides in Utah and Texas.
